It differs! Some follow the plan exactly. They buy the items that we link to, overhaul their entire wardrobe, and wear the outfits we have put together. Others use it as a guide to edit their wardrobe. With our capsule plan, they get a better sense of what types of items are needed for a functional wardrobe. They might match some of our suggestions with what they have in their own wardrobes or buy something similar in a different color, that fits their personal style better. The outfits too can easily be adjusted to your preference.

It can be, but most people we’ve talked with prefer using this plan with their current wardrobe. This gives a great overview of what types of items are needed and how to maximize their use in outfits. But by all means, go for a full overhaul if you feel like it! Many are doing exactly that.

All items have multiple links, to cater for people around the world with different budgets. There are no links to ultra-cheap fast fashion or overpriced luxury—our focus is on affordable quality. We include classics in our capsules, not only because they are immune to trends, but because they fit different shaped bodies well. Of course, it’s up to everyone themselves to determine what they deem flattering for their body, but the additional benefit of classic cuts are that you’re very likely to find different alterations of them. E.g. blue jeans can be found in almost any shape imaginable!

They combine seamlessly with our Year-Round Core Capsule, meaning that the items are designed to mix and match together for maximum usability. All expansion capsules work standalone too, without the Year-Round Core Capsule.
